In the arid desert of the Piura Valley, 90 families from three villages use the Andean waterways to make the most of their crops, growing cocoa alongside mangoes, citrus and rice. In the past 10 years, Blanco cocoa has changed many things in the Piura region. Shady forests have grown on abandoned land, creating rich cocoa gardens, farmers’ incomes have more than doubled and a strong regional cooperative is making the voices of the farmers heard.
Piura Blanco ceremonial cocoa is delicious, delicate, characterized by raspberry and citrus notes. It has a fantastic chocolate scent that awakens all the senses. It is perfectly velvety and dissolves wonderfully. Each subsequent sip of this cocoa reveals even greater depth. It tastes great with just water, without any additives. Combined with oat or almond milk, it is a delicious dessert. This cocoa is not very bitter, it works very well for children and for people who prefer more delicate flavors. In larger doses, a delicate acidity is noticeable.
We named this cocoa PEACE because it invites us to calmly stop within ourselves. It has a subtle, feminine energy. It relaxes, soothes, brings to the body. In smaller quantities it calms and soothes - in a ceremonial dose it can awaken fiery energy.
Blanco cocoa is enveloping, it reminds us of the energy of Mother Earth - strong and stable in its fragility. It is ideal for Meditation, breathing practices, yoga. It works great in a circle and at cocoa ceremonies.
Cocoa Peace is a signpost on the way to your heart. It envelops, softens the body and calms the mind. It also works very well as a daily coffee substitute - it raises energy in a calm and balanced way, strengthens creativity and focus.
We wholeheartedly recommend this cocoa if your intention is to invite peace into your life.
