The beans come from the Antsiranana region of Madagascar. The cocoa trees grow along the banks of the Sambirano River in volcanic soil, nourished by the island's tropical climate and sea breezes. Known for their distinct flavors—bright citrus, berries, and hints of flowers and spices—these beans are highly prized. The fruit is picked, fermented, and dried on site—using traditional methods—the beans are then taken to a tiny workshop in southern Italy where they are milled and shipped to us.
Cocoa is delicate in taste, chocolatey, dry, slightly nutty. It has a creamy consistency. Ideal as an everyday drink, it is a great substitute for coffee. It is light and at the same time pleasantly stimulating.
We named it Earthing because it has a stable, grounding energy. It adds strength and energy, relaxes the body, introduces a beautiful flow. Just one cup of this cocoa fills our entire being with peace and warmth, warms the heart and invites the energy of love. A wonderful combination of flow and softness, and energy and strength.
Madagascar quiets the mind, brings us to the body, to conscious presence in the here and now.
Perfect for ceremonies, meditation, yoga, activity, spending time in nature. Supports creativity and focus. Works great as a coffee substitute.
It goes perfectly with spices, oat milk and honey.
